The England U21 player has been on our radar since the summer, and although only 18, the kid has multiple suitors. Many believe he might even get a 1st team chance already, if he comes. Currently, he's playing with Andre Wisdom, who's on loan there, with rumors being that the season-long loan is to sweeten the deal for Hughes to make his way to Merseyside.

The youngster was brought up by Nigel Clough, a former Red himself, and has made 57 appearances for the Senior side since 2011, with the bulk of those being 38 last year. He netted 3 goals, and despite having played only 18 times for Derby at the start of the fledgling season, he's scored 2 goals.

El Shaarawy's the latest in a long list of strikers to be linked with a move to the Reds, having only made four appearances for the Rossoneri this season, but only returning from injury recently. However, his match time has reportedly been cut due to the signing of Mario Balotelli, as well.

Despite only being 21, (having turned 21 this week) he's made 111 senior appearances, making 3 for Genoa, being signed by AC, then moving on loan to Padova, a 2nd division side in Italy, in 2011 then making 78 appearances in all competitions since his return, most appearances coming last season, where he made 46.

El Shaarawy's been likened to Lionel Messi and Neymar, with many comparing their prowess on the ball, and goal-scoring ability.
