Andrea Pirlo-Juventus
Andrea Pirlo's contract at Juventus is up soon, with the word being that he doesn't want to renew his deal with the Italian club, and that England may be his preferred destination.
However, Real Madrid and Inter Milan are supposedly after him as well, and Arsenal, Chelsea, Man U, and Tottenham are the English clubs said to be in the running, as well as the mighty Reds.
It doesn't need to be said what a signing like this would mean to us, even at Pirlo's age of 34 he still plays as if he's 27 or 28. But will he be able to settle in England at his age? Fernando Morientes had been setting the world alight in Spain for years before he made the move to Merseyside, where he just didn't fit in, and never got his feet off the ground.
Rumors have escalated again over Xabi Alonso's return to Anfield and it seems like we'd only have one of the two, but whoever we get out of the two would be a great deal for us.
Kurt Zouma-St. Etienne
About to turn 19, Kurt Zouma is one of Europes' biggest young prospects. He plays at center back for St. Etienne in France, and has represented France from U16 all the way up to U21 levels, and won the 2011 U17 World Cup and the 2011 U17 European Championship with France.
At club level, he's made 57 appearances for St. Etienne between 2011 and the recently opened season, his most coming in 2011, where he notched 24 appearances.
He's been linked with Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Lyon, Inter, basically all of the big clubs around, but Brendan was supposedly after him this past summer, but the player decided to stay with his current club to continue his Football education.
