All things new. Sam's story below sums up how a lot of us feel about the old LFC contingent. Dirk was a very respected member of the LFC family. His workrate and love for all things LFC were second to none. His work on the JF96 campaign was also respected. I have stated my thoughts several times but I feel it is time to move ahead, nostalgia be damned. The goal to me is to keep the LFC values and progress them forward translating into the modern game. Our choices are clear either adapt or fall further behind. We will likely never have the spending power of MCFC or CFC. But we can develop our players internally and look for bargains.
New away kit pictures were released. I am not sold on them yet. The gray halo confuses me, I realize this is a retro look and is a recognition to the sailors (Liverpool was a massive port city) of Liverpool. Insert the seamen jokes from our rivals.
On to the news.

New Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has put Gylfi Sigurdsson and Clint Dempsey at the top of his transfer wishlist. Rodgers has vowed to strengthen his Anfield squad. A bit redundant here but they add Dempsey to the list. I am not sure how well he would fit in the new system. We've debated this here. I just don't like Dempsey.
