Busy day at work so here is your quick hit of LFC related news.

Scott Parker set to captain England via espnsoccernet.com

I am obviously biased but I would have given Stevie G the run out as captain. Stuart Pearce has done what the media wants and named Parker.

Agger ruled out for at least a month via goal.com

Very devistating for the club. I know that we have capable backups but he and Martin were having an excellent season and developed a nice partnership back there. We have Carra, Coates, Kelly, Flanno, etc. I hope that Kenny will play Kelly with Skrtel. He is an excellent defender and can get forward like Daniel can. My gut tells me that Kenny will put Carra in this weekend which to be honest scares me.

LFC Summer Transfer Targets: Hazard, Keita, and Javi Martinez via goal.com

I don't see Hazard coming to LFC unless we finish 4th. Then he may come but likely to Tottenham or Arsenal. Keita and Martinez primarily play the DMF role and we should have Lucas coming back next season so to sign them both would not make sense. Keita wants first team football as he has only seen seven La Liga matches this season. Martinez would be a quality addition but would likely want first team football and plays center MF or DMF.

Keita flattered by LFC link via espnsoccernet.com

Would provide nice cover for Lucas at a minimal price

Martin Skrtel named the Slovakia Player of the year! via goal.com

Congrats Martin! You have had an amazing season!
