Cardiff Want Bellamy Return

6

Apparently their chairman wants him back if the new regime decides his services are no longer required. Considering how much he contributed with his inconsistent playing time, I personally am hoping he would stay. Yes, even though I hate him for chasing Riise out the door...with a golf club.

So, there are now 2 Liverpool blogs?

2

I am not a Liverpool fan but I saw an announcement about The Liverpool Offsides and I got a bit confused because I already knew about Anfield Asylum.

it's Liverpool: Anfield

+

John Henry tweeted this link earlier today.. another indication that we are going to most probably stay at Anfield itself. Makes for a very good read as well, check it out.

Please Stand By—We're Not Done Celebrating

+

A review of every goal scored at the Euro revealed that play has been interrupted for an average of 52 seconds after scoring, counting from when the ball crossed the goal line until the moment play resumed. Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates with his team. .Portugal, which will face Spain in Wednesday's semifinal, is the most festive side: 67.9 seconds per goal. When Cristiano Ronaldo scored against the Czech Republic on Thursday, the Portuguese celebrated for nearly 90 seconds.

The Liverpool Offside is now on SBN

+

The Liverpool Offside blog is now fully integrated to SBN after the Offside network was bought out last year. Noel and Ed are terrific writers if you're not familiar with their work, and now the format for everything is the same as here. Go say hi!

India’s best supported English football club

The Indian reds on this forum, show them who's boss! LFC leading on this poll by a wide margin so far.

Liverpool close in on Sigurdsson

Given how he fits so well in Rodgers' system, I'm 100% behind the signing. The fact that he's only 22 is a bonus.

The Kenny Dalglish Column

1

The King has a column on Mirror now! I might be biased but he's written a great opening column, the highlight for me being a list of strikers to watch out for in the Euros. I wonder if he had stayed on, would LFC have been in for one of those names. While I am happy for Kenny and we finally have a good reason to visit their website now I do feel slightly uncomfortable at Kenny evaluating Liverpool matches next season. Even the slightest critical analysis will be seen to have darker undertones. Anyways, let's hope it never comes to that, eh? More power to KD. YNWA

Steve Clarke Has Left the Club

3

If you are just waking up here in the States and haven't heard, Steve Clarke, Liverpool's first team coach and Kenny's right hand man was essentially told that his services were no longer desired. In addition, Kevin Keen, the other first team coach, has also left the club.
