Chris Brunskill

Exploring a wide range of Liverpool news and content across the Internet.

After the return of Champions League football earlier this week, Liverpool will look to solidify their placement in next years competition with a home win against Swansea. For now though, read a mixture of Liverpool related news articles and opinions from around the web.

-Liverpool advance to FA Youth Cup quarter-finals, beat Watford 2-0.

-In the Champions League, Bayern Munich down ten-man Arsenal 2-0 while Atletico Madrid defeat AC Milan on a late header from Diego Costa. SB Nation Recaps: Arsenal | Bayern Munich | AC Milan

-Javier Mascherano decided earlier this week to clear the air over his sour Anfield exit. Not sure why the topic came up three and a half years after his transfer from Liverpool, but it's interesting to note that we haven't bought a decent defensive midfielder in all that time.

-Howard Webb predictably escapes punishment for his poor performance in the Liverpool-Arsenal match over the weekend.

-From This Is Anfield: Liverpool's 20 year struggle to find a top class left back. On the subject of left backs, Jose Enrique could make a big difference for Liverpool if he ever recovers from his knee operation.

-Our SB Nation neighbors over at The Liverpool Offside discuss news that Tiago Ilori is doing well in his loan spell at Granada.

-Lastly, I wrote a statistical analysis on Liverpool's poor away form for Anfield Index.

Feel free to discuss the articles I've provided and add your own links. Enjoy your Thursday!
