Today marks the 7th anniversary of the best comeback in Champions League history. Seems like only yesterday we were all sitting on the edge of our seats during the penalty shoot-out with Milan. LFC was down 3-0 at the half and came out and played inspired football. They were awful the first half. Some of my most memorable images were the fans at the half looking stunned. I felt gutted for all those fans that travelled to Istanbul.
To me (yes I am a little biased) this is the best Champions League final I can recall. Dudek was massive in the second half denying Sheva what seemed like several times! Steven Gerrard ensured that he would become an LFC legend and Xabi's blocked penalty and subsequent goal on the rebound was brilliant. Those were better days indeed!

I like his tactics and hope that the new manager can incorporate these types of ideas. His 4-2-3-1 system could fit our players well.
